Mission:  Honor Courage Commitment is a nonprofit organization that recruits, educates, mentors, and guides transitioning military veterans into becoming socially responsible entrepreneurs and community leaders.

The U.S. government invests billions of tax dollars to train the men and women of its armed forces to become effective leaders on the battlefield.  Honor Courage Commitment furthers that investment by supporting veterans in harnessing those critical skills outside the theatre of war.  Empirical data shows that the skills needed to be an effective military leader are indistinguishable from the those needed to be a successful entrepreneur.

HCC’s mission is more important today than any other time in recent history.  U.S. unemployment rates have reached record highs; and regrettably, these statistics are even higher for veterans.  Veterans who file for unemployment benefits are a waste of asset resources and are taxing to our nation.  These highly trained veteran citizens who return home are not lacking skill, but rather the necessary guidance to transfer their skill sets to the business world.  Our passion is in promoting socially responsible small-business owners who help create more jobs for the returning members of our armed forces.
